Durbanville Hockey Club (DHC) is excited to announce the return of our Annual DHC 5’s Tournament, taking place from 19–21 September 2025 at Curro Durbanville High School. After a highly successful launch in 2023, this event has quickly become a highlight on our club calendar—bringing together fast-paced hockey, a festive atmosphere, and the spirit of community.

This action-packed weekend will feature U11, U13, Senior Ladies, and Senior Men’s divisions, with over 40 teams expected to compete across three days. With food stalls, entertainment, and a beer tent, the tournament promises to be a family-friendly celebration of sport and club spirit.

Hockey 5’s is a fast-paced, exciting format introduced by the International Hockey Federation (FIH), offering the thrill of quick gameplay in a condensed, crowd-friendly setting. Think of it as the hockey version of T20 cricket or 5-a-side football—perfect for spectators and players alike!

We’re calling on local businesses to help us make this tournament even more impactful. Endorsing a team costs just R4,500.00 and directly contributes to:

• Hosting a top-class community sports event

• Supporting our players

• Raising funds toward DHC’s long-term goal of building our own astro fields

• Assisting with new ongoing costs, such as qualified medics at weekly home games, ensuring player safety and well-being

• Multiple teams can be endorsed at R4,500 per team
